Inspired by the leadership of the Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, (May God bless her with long life) we continue to proudly champion her vision: that investing in women is not simply a social responsibility, but a national investment, as women are the heartbeat of our society. The e7 Banat is the very soul of that truth. The strength of nation is measured by how confidently its women are supported to participate, innovate, and lead in driving the prosperous economy forward.
What began in 2008 as a heartfelt majlis dialogue, has evolved into the UAE’s first recognized women leadership development program. e7 connects women across all seven Emirates through impact startup program that not only trains, connects and inspires, but proudly funds women’s social projects.
We believe developing human capital and investing in women’s knowledge-based programs is the true foundation of UAE nation’s development. I remain inspired every day by the ambition, passion and giving, achievements and potential of Emirati women and residents of our generous nation. e7 program experiential journey is a true testament of that, when women are given the right environment to grow, there is no limit to what they can achieve for themselves, their communities, and the future of the UAE’s economy.
Our strategic framework guides our approach to leadership development, built around five core pillars: “Family and Women leadership”, “Education and Career”, “Culture and Heritage”, “Environment and Health”, and improving the quality of life of social wellbeing including people of determination while supporting the underprivileged sectors. This framework ensures that our growth aligned with the government of Abu Dhabi commitment for sustainable social development and the UAE 2031 vision.
e7 transforms ambition into “Survey-based” measurable impact by equipping women with leadership capabilities, entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and real-world opportunities. We continue to drive innovation that addresses pressing social priorities to raise the quality of life in Abu Dhabi.
Since 2014, the e7 legacy has transformed visionary ideas into over 32 funded women-led projects while embedding a culture of entrepreneurship and social integration, community participation and volunteering, and an active responsible community. Today, e7 stands as the first startup driving positive impact, empowering women across the seven Emirates. This directly supports the vision of H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak to invest in women’s capabilities and strengthen their presence across various fields of work and development. e7 continue to graduate participants with real-world capabilities that shape a generation of capable, courageous and confident women as co-creators of the nation’s future.
Our achievements stand as a testament to the trust and continued support of distinguished Excellencies serving as volunteering Advisory Board members, Executive Board members, mentors, contributed partners and stakeholders across the private sectors, government entities and academic institutions, all united by a shared vision of a more inclusive and better future for all, rooted in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
